Ceramic Frit paints are applied to monolithic glass and fired at high temperature causing it to fuse to the glass surface.
Asahi Glass offers a range of colored Ceramic Frit glass. Using a silkscreen process, patterns are permanently imprinted using ceramic paint on glass. This process creates a dramatic new look in glass. The patterns created also serve to reflect and absorb some of the solar energy and also acts as a diffuser, reducing glare on the inside. It can also be custom designed.
